KK Aviation Limited also operates as a Flight Training Organization, producing and grooming captains of the future KK Aviation was also granted approval as a Flight Instructor Training School (FITS) in 2008, a measure which has helped guarantee the future of Flight Training in Pakistan. Up to date, more than 60 students have taken part in and qualified from the FITS courses offered at KK Aviation, with a further 12 enrolling in the latest student intake, indications that the industry shall remain robust and able to cater to the demands of the future. Furthermore, more than 200 students have successfully completed their Commercial Pilot’s Licenses and instrument ratings with KK Aviation in the last 10 years. From amongst these erstwhile trainees, in excess of 50 have successfully been inducted into the PIA Cadet Pilot Induction Program. The highest annual quantum of flying achieved in calender year of 2013 was in excess of 3000 hours and with a current roster of more than 40 trainees for the CPL/IR courses, the training facility at KK Aviation is going from strength to strength providing the industry a constant stream of Tomorrow’s Captains and First Officers.
